Service Description
Ready to roll? Grab your bike and join us! Level of Difficulty: Easy/Medum Lenght in Km: Approx. 40 km Starting from Scopello, embark on a delightful stretch of about 1 km on an asphalt road, which leads you to a wide path that gently descends towards Piode on the orographic right side of the Sesia River. The journey then takes you through a serene larch forest to the Quare Bridge. After a short 100-meter segment towards Rassa, a paved road on the right descends flatly, crossing expansive meadows and farmsteads for nearly 2 km. As you reach Campertogno, the path leaves the Sesia on the right and climbs up to the enchanting hamlet of Rusa via a paved road. From there, a woodland trail leads to Mollia, continuing with a moderate gradient through lush vegetation until you arrive at Otra Sesia. At this juncture, take the generous dirt road, recently constructed through a spectacular larch forest. Overcoming a few short but challenging gradients, you will reach the Isolella Bridge, which, via a steep cemented ramp, crosses the Sesia and returns to the orographic left side of the river. The route then continues on a wide, easy dirt road, sometimes blanketed with a grassy carpet, leading you to the hamlet of Balma di Riva Valdobbia. From there, the path proceeds effortlessly to a small bridge that connects to the Circonvallazione. A sign to the left of the last yellow marker guides you into the heart of Alagna, where you can indulge in a well-deserved meal and savor the flavors of local regional products. OPTIONAL AVAILABLE ON REQUEST: Enjoy a degustation of regional delicacies, featuring artisanal cheeses, cured meats, and traditional dishes that reflect the rich culinary heritage of the area, wrapping up your scenic and invigorating journey with a delightful culinary experience.
